Nature illustration by Katya Shiova

Exhibition “NATURAL ILLUSTRATION by Katya Shiova”, Ukrainian watercolorist, member of the associations of botanical artists ABA and ASBA, and amateur naturalist.
This exhibition is the embodiment of her fascination with nature and her artistic talent.

Since childhood, Katya has been fascinated by the wonders of nature, starting with the first spring butterfly and ending with ancient fossils. Her creative path was inspired by the State Museum of Nature of Kharkiv National University named after her. IN. N.D. Karazin, where she first felt an irresistible desire to draw natural objects.
Katya graduated from a specialized class in natural sciences, where she studied biology, chemistry, physics, and the basics of Latin. This knowledge of natural disciplines became the basis of her creative activity, allowed her to create illustrations that combine to a certain extent scientific accuracy with aesthetic beauty.
This exhibition is a great opportunity to see the natural world through the prism of the artist's art. Her works not only depict natural objects, but also convey their inner beauty and complexity, revealing before us the wonders of evolution.

We invite you to enjoy these amazing watercolors and be inspired by the beauty of nature that Katya Shiova so skillfully transfers to paper.
On the opening day of the exhibition, the artist will conduct an author's tour of the exhibition exposition where you can personally chat with the artist, get an autograph 🙂 and learn about the master classes and training courses that Katya has created for fans of her author's technique.
