Personal report. Collage, watercolor, acrylic
We invite you to visit an event that we have been looking forward to. The first solo exhibition of Elena Zaretska “Personal report. Collage, watercolor, acrylic”.
Elena Zaretska is an artist, designer, head of the Alla Gorska and Viktor Zaretsky Foundation, cultural manager, curator, popularizer of Ukrainian 60s.
“I reflect on the last 8 years of my life - the age of my motherhood, the time when I returned to visual creativity. 8 years during a war that I did not want to see until it penetrated my comfortable world. Epidemics, lockdowns, blackouts — drawing flowers changed with sketches of Mariupol from photographs, because you can no longer draw from nature. 8 years in which life was turned over several times, but with each turn it became more and more mine. 8 years, for which a renewed perception of the world was born. The rose-colored glasses are broken: pain comes to the surface, and moments of happiness are only moments, but very bright.” Elena Zaretska.
