The unique sculptures of Ada Rybachuk and Volodymyr Melnichenko are the heart and pride of the museum's collection. The collection contains about two dozen large works (up to 1.5 m high), made in the technique of baked chamotte with a glazed coating. These works are impressive not only for their scale and artistic level, but also for their fragility.
Due to the fragility of the material and given the unstable situation in the country, the sculptures are extremely vulnerable. That is why we aim to create high-quality 3D models of each sculpture. This will allow:
- Save digital copies in case of damage or destruction of originals.
- Present sculptures in virtual formats, including online exhibitions, mobile applications and digital archives.
- Use models in educational projects and cultural initiatives both in Ukraine and abroad.
The project requires the involvement of professional 3D scanning, post-processing of models and the creation of a digital archive. We believe this initiative will help preserve ARVM art for future generations and make it accessible to audiences around the world.
